Whether you’re a beginner yogi or an advanced practitioner, private sessions can go a long way in building a strong foundation or taking your yoga practice to the next level. Rates start at just $45/session!

Why do a private yoga session?

Not a Cookie Cutter Class

In private sessions, you won’t be confined to the style of yoga in a certain class. You can set your intentions and goals with your instructor to ensure each session has a purpose, leading you in a meaningful direction

Some days you might want to take it nice and easy, and others, you might want to push yourself or work on a certain skill/pose. Your instructor can break down a pose so you’ll learn modifications or progressions to use your yoga practice in a way that supports you best.

Your private sessions will be designed specifically for you. You’ll do what is best for your body and mind, progress at your own pace, and soak in all that yoga has to offer without the pressure of a full class around you.

Set Aside Time for You

We know you’re busy, and sometimes getting to a class just isn’t going to happen. Working with a private yoga instructor allows you to schedule a time for yoga that works for your life. The convenience of having a time that works for you can help you stay consistent with your practice. Use your private sessions as a way to stay accountable on your yoga journey.

Get to Know Your Body Even Better

You’ll have hands-on instruction for safe and proper alignment, which will help avoid injury over time so you can have a healthy yoga practice for years to come. You’ll learn how to listen to your body so you know when to back off and when to challenge yourself. Your instructor will also teach (or gently remind) you how to use yoga props (i.e. blanket, bolster, or blocks) to complement your practice. One-on-one yoga sessions in a safe space with a qualified instructor offer more support for release and relaxation than a typical yoga class.

Yoga is accessible to all, no matter your experience level. If you’re new to yoga, private lessons build the fundamentals you need to start off your yoga journey the right way. 

More advanced practitioners have an opportunity to nourish their practice through pose progressions, building strength and stamina, and exploring playful sequences. There is also an opportunity for more hands-on assists and adjustments to explore the poses with safety and depth

If a one-on-one session isn’t your jam, we offer small group sessions and private yoga parties too! Practicing yoga with your friends, family, or partner can be a wonderful, intimate experience and a great way to further explore your relationships. In-studio group sessions (two or more people) start at $130 per hour.

We even offer Aerial Yoga private parties (up to seven people). Aerial private yoga sessions are 90 minutes in length and start at $169 per session.

 

Honor Your Homebody

We offer our private sessions off-site as well! If you feel more comfortable in your home or want us to help you find a way to use your home as your sacred yoga place, we can come to you! Off-site group sessions (two or more people) start at $150 per hour. The site must be within 30 miles of the Bismarck-Mandan area.

One-on-Ones:

  • $45 for 30 min session

  • $80 for 60 min session

  • $130 for 90 min session

What is the cost of a private group session?

Group/Yoga Parties (two or more people):

  • $130 for in-studio session

  • $170 for off-site session (within 30 miles)

  • $169 for 90 min Aerial Private Party (up to seven people)

You mentioned hands-on assists and adjustments, are those required?

Not at all! Your instructor will make sure you are comfortable with any hands-on assistance before adding it into your sessions.

Do I have to come to the studio?

Nope! We can meet you where you’re at, literally. Off-site sessions are available (within 30 miles of the Bismarck-Mandan area). 

Can I bring a friend?

Yes! Please specify beforehand and see group rates for more details.

What can I expect at a typical private yoga session?

You’ll begin your session by checking in with your instructor. Next, you’ll check in with your body and breath. From there you’ll start to ease into your physical practice. Once you’re warmed up, the practice will be directed toward whatever goals or intentions you set for that session (i.e. a peak pose, relaxation). Finally, you’ll end with savasana (final resting pose) or a seated meditation.

Do I need to own a yoga mat or bring anything to my sessions?

Our studios are well-equipped with mats, props, and anything else you’d need for your sessions. If you are planning to do off-site sessions, the instructor can bring a limited amount of mats or props as needed.

Are private sessions offered online?

Yes. Private sessions are available via Zoom.
